The Fun of Christmas in Florida
The palm tree's lights are glowing.
The sandman smiles with a grin that's flowing.
Because the sea water is reaching him and chowing.
All the while the gulls are growing
Into a group that's annoying.
And that's the fun of Christmas in Florida.
The sun shines bright
And the moon takes flight
As the day breaks night
Into a tropical delight.
Of coconut oil and speedo fright!
And that's the fun of Christmas in Florida.
Snowbirds arrive with a heavenly sigh,
While the Crackers look at them resigned,
That the seniors are invading
And driving prices high!
But the legislatures don't care
And that's the fun of Christmas in Florida.
Truthfully, though,
Christmas is fun.
In the tropical paradise
of Florida.
With beaches and sun.
Harry Potter and Disney
And that's the fun of Christmas in Florida.
You can have your snow
and you can dream of cold
But here we applaud
the joy of the Son
in the tropics with sun
And that's the fun of Christmas in Florida.
